This is a lovely tribute - I am moved to tears after losing my own dad earlier this year too. My memories include so many similar touchpoints large and small. Being the rock for a busy family for so many decades....napping through a favorite CD but insisting he heard every note....and being the one who makes sure all the lights get turned off. Thank you for sharing and many condolences. Your dad sounds like a wonderful man and I know his legacy will live on in your family.
